Defense fights between India and South Korea made great progress in recent years: Rajnath

NEW DELHI: Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh On Tuesday he said that defense commitments between India and have made tremendous progress in recent years.

The Defense Minister said his talks were extremely fruitful and aimed to further deepen bilateral defense cooperation.

Defense industry cooperation has been one of the most vibrant aspects of bilateral defense cooperation between India and South Korea. Today we exchange the roadmap on cooperation that includes a list of possible areas of cooperation, Singh tweeted.

Singh said he looks forward to the investment of South Korean companies in Indian defense brokers.

Defense brokers present an excellent opportunity for South Korean industries to establish their manufacturing units, benefit from skilled and economical labor, natural resources and custom incentives, he said.

The Minister of Defense added: We recognize the influence and digital technology in the defense sector. The theme of DefExpo-2020 in Lucknow is 'Digital transformation of defense'. India and RoK are ready to take advantage of mutual strengths in the digital application and other advanced technologies.
