Hindustan Petroleum will publish its third quarter results on February 5, 2020

NEW DELHI: Hindustan oil Corporation Limited is likely to announce its earnings for the third quarter on Wednesday, February 5.

For the quarter ending September 2019, HPCL posted a gain of Rs 1,052 million rupees, almost double the gain of Rs 564 million rupees reported by its much larger pair, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

In declaring the results of the second quarter, HPCL President MK Surana said: We are consciously working on our inventory system and even in the way we are hiring crude in terms of prices. We have received a conscious call from time to time to ensure that we can align the prices of our products with the prices of crude.

In the past three months, Hindustan oil 's share price has gone down from Rs 313.95 on November 06, 2019 to Rs 223.40 on February 03, 2020 on .

Headquartered in Mumbai, Hindustan oil has conferred with Maharatna status in October 2019.
