Convicted for murder found working as a Uttarakhand policeman for 19 years

DEHRADUN: It was discovered that a convict in a 22-year murder case that took place in which he works for 19 years.

The incident became known after a Bareilly court convicted and sentenced Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Abhaipur under the Bareilly Cantt police station, to life imprisonment. The policeman is now published in Almora. A case of cheating against him has been registered at the Pantnagar police station. According to police, Mukesh Kumar, who works as a police officer, had proven to be a resident of Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand at the time of his recruitment in the Uttarakhand police in 2001.

The matter came to light after Naresh Kumar, a Bareilly resident, wrote to the Almora Police Superintendent that Mukesh was involved in a murder that took place in Bareilly in 1997, and that the court had sentenced him to life imprisonment. . Upon finding the correct complaint, a case was filed against Mukesh Kumar, who had been published in several districts during his 19 years of service with the Uttarakhand Police. Pantnagar SHO Ashok Kumar said measures would be taken after the investigation.
