Rishi Kapoor shares an update on his health, fans send him love and good wishes

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor On Tuesday, he said he was back at home after being discharged from a Delhi hospital, where he was diagnosed with a patch that could have caused pneumonia.

In a series of tweets, Kapoor said he had contracted an infection due to pollution while shooting in the city. He also thanked his supporters for their concern.

Dear family, friends, enemies and followers. I have been overwhelmed by all your concern for my health. Thank you. I have been filming in Delhi for the past 18 days and due to pollution and my low count of neutrophils I took an infection for which I had to be hospitalized, the actor wrote on the microblogging site.

Kapoor, who is under treatment, said he decided to issue a clarification since people seem to have assumed many different things.

The actor returned to India last September after undergoing cancer treatment in the United States for almost a year.

He had a mild fever and in the investigation, doctors found a patch that could have caused pneumonia, was detected and is being cured. People seem to have assumed many different things. I let all those stories rest and I hope to entertain myself. and I love you. Now I am in Mumbai, he continued.

Glad to hear the clarification, several fans turned to social networks to wish Rishi a speedy recovery and good health.

Meanwhile, Rishi will soon prepare to star alongside Deepika Padukone in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie The Intern. The actor will put himself in the shoes of Robert De Niro in this office drama that will take Deepika in the lead.

The movie is scheduled for a release in 2021.
