The team will film some romantic scenes with RK and Alia and complete some scraps with the rest of the cast, a source revealed. The film ended in February 2018 in Bulgaria, followed by marathon schedules in London, New York, Scotland, Varanasi and Manali, where the climax was canned. The film presents Ranbir as Shiva, who emits fire from his hand, with Alia as his love interest, Isha.
It is an ambitious film for Ayan since the visual effects are not limited to the action sequences. Even the actual filming locations will be improved with VFX, so the film has taken longer than expected, ”the source said. The movie has been in process for about 170 days. By the time I finished, the cast would have worked for almost 200 days. It is one of the longest filming for a movie in the last 20 years, along with 'Bahubali' and 'Padmaavat'.
A London-based team is working on visual effects. Ayan will proceed to editing, background scoring and dubbing once the session ends. “The new date was announced taking into account the time required for the final touches. There will be no delay in launching now, ”the source added.
'Brahmastra' also features Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles and a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan, who shot for his turn in November last year.
