Delhi Surveys: Nitish Kumar attacks Kejriwal for breach of the development front
PATNA: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar On Sunday he attacked his Delhi counterpart, Arvind, for breach of development fronts over the past five years and asked voters in the national capital to give the NDA led by the BJP the opportunity to form a government for the general development of Delhi as Bihar.
Addressing an electoral rally in the constituency of the Burari assembly in Delhi while sharing the stand, for the first time, with the interior minister of the Union, Amit Shah, Nitish compared the development work of his government in Bihar with those of Delhi and said that the AAP government did nothing about it.
Shah, in his speech, also referred to Nitish's development model and said that the Kejriwal government in Delhi did not fulfill any of the promises made five years ago. Sha praised Nitish for starting a new era of development in Bihar.
Speaking to Burari's JD (U) candidate, Shailendra Kumar, Nitish said: “What work has the Delhi government done for its people? Where are the roads in Burari? After all, what work have you done in the last five years? The water supply situation is not good in the area either. Here in Delhi, no roads have been built or the electricity supply situation has improved, ”said Nitish.
He also attacked Kejriwal for his controversial statement in which he had said that the people of Bihar came to Delhi spending 500 rupees on a train ticket to receive Rs5 lakh treatment in the national capital. “Delhi is the national capital. People from all over the country are free to come here. The Ayushman Bharat scheme, which provides health coverage of up to Rs5 lakh to poor people, is a central government scheme. What is the contribution of the Delhi government in the treatment of people in Bihar? ”Asked Nitish.
He also attacked Kejriwal for not granting permission to the Bihar State Road Transportation Corporation (BSRTC) for driving buses to Delhi. “We present luxury buses from Bihar to Delhi for the comfort of people living in Delhi. But the Delhi government refused to grant entry permits to our buses in the national capital. Our buses now arrive in Ghaziabad and Noida. If the Delhi government had provided a permit, you would have come directly to Delhi on the Bihar buses, ”Nitish said.
He asked voters to give the NDA led by BJP a chance, as they gave Congress 15 years and the AAP another five years. If you vote for power, the NDA government will do everything for your convenience, Nitish said.
Earlier, Nitish also addressed an election rally in Sangam Vihar in favor of candidate JD (U) SCL Gupta. JD ((U) is contesting two and LJP a seat of the 70 seats in the assembly in Delhi. LJP chief Chirag Paswan was also present at the NDA election rally.
