Mumbai: woman injured during the attack on her brother
MUMBAI: A 26-year-old woman's finger was cut while trying to save her brother from four attackers in the village of Sahar in the suburbs on Sunday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred when he intervened while his brother Zaid was being attacked by the four men for some old rivalry, an official said.
The main defendant, identified as his brother Bipin Singh, had a fight with Sheikh's husband, Rameez, on January 26.
The deputy inspector of the Sahar police station, Nagesh Misal, said a FIR was registered in Sunday's incident.
Police have not yet made any arrests, he said.
