Currently enjoying the success of his latest Bollywood release, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior', actor Devdatta Nage is ready to return to Marathi television after a gap of two years. Devdatta, who became a familiar name with his portrayal of Lord Khandoba in the mythological show 'Jai Malhar', will be seen in an avatar of the mafia don in the upcoming comedy 'Doctor Don'. When talking about his role, Devdatta says : My character's name is Deva, who under certain circumstances joins a medical institute. There he falls in love with the dean. It's a fun show and I'm excited to be doing comedy for the first time. After seeing me as Lord Khandoba for a long time, this will be a refreshing change for the spectators as well.
Devdatta says he intends to strike a balance between television and Bollywood and is happy with the way his career is taking shape. “I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to play Suryaji Malusare in 'Tanhaji' and a gray character in 'Satyamev Jayate'.
