Coronavirus: 3 people with symptoms admitted to Jaipur hospital

JAIPUR: Three people suspected of having symptoms were admitted here, an official said on Sunday.

“They were admitted to the hospital on Saturday. His blood samples were collected and the report is expected to arrive Sunday night, ”said the SMS hospital superintendent.

He added that patients have been kept in isolation.

Meanwhile, arrangements have been made to keep almost 300 Indians transported by air from the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the international virus outbreak began.

The passenger group is likely to arrive in Alwar on Sunday night for quarantine.

Ravi Sharma, an official of the state health department who coordinates with the Center, said 300 beds have been prepared in two shelters and that adequate personnel have been deployed.

Deputy CMHO, Alwar, Dr. Chhabil Kumar said that passengers will be quarantined and kept under observation for 28 days.

“They are healthy passengers. If someone is found to have symptoms of the virus, they will be taken to a district hospital, ”he said.

Passengers will be kept under observation and will be allowed to go in case no symptoms are found, he added.
