Budget of the Union 2020: the funds for the presidency obtain a nominal increase
NEW DELHI: The government allocated Rs 80.98 million rupees for the president's staff, homes and allocations in the Union Budget 2020-21 on Saturday, a marginal increase of Rs 6.56 rupees from the last budget.
In the last budget, Rs 76.33 million rupees were assigned to the office of the President, which was then revised to Rs 74.42 rupees.
The allocation for 2020-21, the funds have increased to Rs 80.98 million rupees, an increase of 8.1 percent compared to the latest budget.
The funds include Rs 60 lakh towards the salary of the President, Rs 32.78 million rupees for the establishment and allied expenses and Rs 47.60 million rupees for expenses in the family establishment of the President, including staff salaries, according to the staff document budget.
