This is going to take some time to assimilate, ”said the popular TV host who has won the hearts of the Telugu audience with his charm as a boy next door and his quick wit. In a free conversation, Pradeep reflects on what makes it desirable, how he deals with all the flattery that is presented day after day and why he doesn't see himself getting married soon. Excerpts

How does it feel to be Hyderabad Times? Most desirable man on television , again?

(Laughter) I feel very, very flattered. It feels great to know that they want me, who doesn't? For someone like me who has existed for a decade, this honor makes me believe that my connection with the Telugu television audience is still strong and that people are happy to see me on television every day. I have to thank all my fans, who follow me and my shows, for that. I would not be here without the unconditional love and support they have given me.

What, according to you, is the only quality that makes it more desirable?

I think it's a combination of factors ... my side boy aspect, spontaneity, sense of humor and the fact that I can entertain, everyone counts. Other than that, I think my attitude towards life and the way I dress add to my desirability ratio. Many people congratulate me on my smile and my dimples, although they are usually hidden behind my beard (laughs). I blush every time someone says that.

pg2_pradeep What do you find desirable in a woman?

Honesty and a big smile is very attractive. Anyone who has a positive vibe about them, whether male or female, will surely be desirable. Speaking of girls in particular, it comes down to three qualities: the way he speaks, the smiles and his sense of style. It seems that I don't care so much. I believe in the saying that true beauty lies in the purity of your heart. Outside beauty generally fades in 10-15 years, but the person inside is what matters and is permanent.

Who do you think is the most desirable man and woman in the country?

Among men, it has to be Hrithik Roshan. I love the way he behaves, his dedication to the physical state and his acting skills. When you reach women, it is difficult to choose one. There are so many names ... Samantha Akkineni Deepika Padukone, the list goes on ... but Kajal Aggarwal it is my favorite.

Do you have any role model you are looking for?

Yes, Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu, no doubt. Pawan sir inspires me a lot with the way he speaks. When you see Mahesh Lord off the screen, there is a calm in him that distinguishes him. He is so charismatic and always has a smile on his face. I worked with him for an ad recently and it was an amazing experience. I really want to be like Mahesh Babu sir.

You have managed to make a dent in the small screen with your impeccable sense of style. What does it take to be on top of your fashion game all the time?

For me, evolving with current trends while staying true is of the utmost importance. Your sense of style is nothing more than an extension of your personality. Whether you go to an informal or formal meeting, you should know what to wear. I am someone who is very particular about my sense of dress, especially my shoes. I had read some time ago that, The character of a man is defined by how good his shoes are. So I always keep my shoes in optimal condition. They always need to be very clean and I usually do it myself. I also like jackets and blazers a lot. I buy my own clothes since I have a large collection in my closet.

How many pairs do you have?

I'm not exactly sure, but I will definitely have more than 100 pairs. I have an entire room full of them. Since my sister moved to the United States, I have also occupied her room. It works like my changing room and changing room, so all my clothes and shoes are stored in that room. Every two years, when I visit India, I clean it and give it back (laughs).

You have more than 2 million followers on Facebook, 1.3 million on Twitter and 1.5 million on Instagram. However, you are not very active in social networks. Why?

It's true that I don't check my social media management very often, but when I do, I make sure I answer as many as I can. The people who follow me are mostly in the 15-35 age group. Although I don't publish much, I am aware of what is happening and who is doing what. I also look through the social media pages of actresses. I keep myself well informed about Tollywood so that people don't lie to me that they are busy. (laughs)

You also get a lot of love and attention from your fans offline. How do you deal with all the flattery?

I feel very humble for all the love I receive from my fans. Many of them bring me homemade food in boxes, saying: In that program you said you liked this dish, so my mom prepared it for you. Many also give me chocolates and flowers. There was a fan who presented a shirt that his mother sewed on me while we filmed for Express Raja. I did not know what to say! I just try to spend as much time as I can with my fans. I always request that the channel give me at least half an hour after the shooting to interact with my fans. Many of them travel long distances just to meet me. I try not to disappoint them. It's a big problem for them to meet me: they feel very happy and share photos with me on social networks and tag me. I am deeply indebted to them.

We can't let you go without asking the million dollar question that is the most important in the minds of all your fans: who is the special person in your life?

Trust me, I'm not lying, I'm fine and truly single. My only goal in life is to improve what I do and be more successful than I am today. Currently, I am working on two shows: Local Gang and Dhee Champions. Apart from these, I'm ready to make my hero debut with the movie, 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela . Then there is no time for love. The little free time I get is dedicated to my family and friends. My school friends are very dear to me. They are the ones who still treat me like a normal boy.

Looks like you're going to be ragged for being the Pellikani Pradeep for some time in the future ...

(Laughter) I think things always happen when they are supposed to happen. Although my parents are interested in getting married, I don't see that happening soon.
