Preview results of Hindustan Unilever Q3; this is what you can expect
NEW DELHI: FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Limited plans to announce its earnings for the third quarter on Friday, January 31.
According to market experts, HUL It is expected to report an annual increase of 16-18 percent in net earnings for the December quarter. Volume growth could remain low by 3 percent due to delays in the beginning of winter in its winter portfolio.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), market leader in the FMCG segment, had reported a 21 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs 1,848 crore after incorporating the reduction in the corporate tax rate. EBITDA (Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) for the Q2 came in at Rs 2,443 crore, up 21 per cent YoY.
The shares of Hindustan Unilever Ltd opened at Rs 2074.90 (NSE) on Thursday, January 30 against the previous day's close at Rs 2074.20 (NSE).
