Maruti Suzuki touches milestone, 5 lakh BSVI vehicles sold in 10 months

NEW DELHI: Maruti market leaders Suzuki (MSIL) is reaping rewards for offering a large amount of BSVI vehicles in the market. The carmakers have sold five lakh BSVI-compliant vehicles cumulatively with 10 offerings in the category currently.

Maruti Suzuki introduced its first BSVI compliant petrol car in April 2019, a year in-advance from the mandatory deadline. The complete range of Maruti Suzuki BSVI compliant petrol models now include Alto, Eeco, S-Presso, Celerio, WagonR, Swift, Baleno, Dzire, Ertiga and XL6. These contribute nearly 75% of the Maruti Suzuki 's petrol volumes, the company said.
