Watford signs the Argentine end Pussetto of Udinese

Watford has signed Argentine end Ignacio Pussetto on the Italian side Udinese in a four and a half year contract, the Premier league Club announced on Tuesday.

The club did not disclose the transfer fee, but the British media reported that it was in the region of 8 million euros ($ 8.90 million).

The 24-year-old, who can also play as a striker, has five goals and five assists in 50 appearances since his move to Udinese in 2018.

Udinese is owned by Italian businessman Giampaolo Pozzo, while his son Gino owns Watford, who has signed a series of players from A series Club in the past.

Watford, who was in the relegation zone since the beginning of the season, climbed to 17th place over the weekend, a change designed by the new manager Nigel Pearson who has won 13 points in six games since his appointment in December.
