The friendship of Jada Pinkett and Tupac Shakur made Will Smith jealous

Will Smith He recently talked about the resentment he felt for his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's friendship with the late rapper. Tupac Shakur .nSmith admitted this while on the talk show along with his 'Bad Boys for Life Martin Lawrence' co-star, Page Six reported.

When host Charlamagne asked Smith if he ever envied the closeness between his wife and Tupac, the 51-year-old star said yes.

He said: That was in the first days. It was also a great regret for me, because I could never open myself to interact with Pac.

Jada and Tupac met while they were students at The Baltimore School of the arts.

They shared a platonic friendship, but Smith was worried that, although they never had a sexual relationship, but now they had reached that age when it was a possibility, and Jada was with me.

Smith also added that his wife had immense respect for the rapper and that was what made him nervous.

She simply loved him. It was the image of perfection, but she was with the 'Fresh Prince', so it was as if we were together in the room a couple of times, I couldn't talk to him. He wasn't there, he wouldn't talk to me if I wasn't going to talk to him.

Smith still regrets not being able to get along with Tupac despite Jada's efforts to bring the two men closer.
