The Spanish striker cornered by Jamshedpur FC

Jamshedpur, January 6 () Jamshedpur FC has signed Spanish striker David Grande to strengthen his side for the rest of the Indian Super League season (ISL).

The 28-year-old Spanish forward currently plays for Unionistas CF in the Spanish third division, and has been in good shape for the current season scoring nine goals in 18 games.

The east side aims to reach the playoffs.

After joining the Indian Super League team, the Spaniard said: It is a great opportunity for me to play in such an important club in India. The head coach has given me a goal to help the team enter the top four and qualify for the play-offs. This is our priority and I hope to help the team get there.

Jamshedpur FC coach Antonio Iriondo expressed his joy at the club's singing in the forward.

We evaluated our team after the first half of our season and have been struggling with injuries for some foreign players, Iriondo said. Hiring a player like David Grande helps us add depth to the team, as well as more goals. He is a mature and proven player with a good left foot, and we believe he will combine quite well with our line of attack. AH AH
