First poster of 'Thuramukham': Nivin Pauly promises another spectacular performance

The first glimpse of 'Thuramukham' starring Nivin Pauly has impressed fans. After his phenomenal performance in 'Moothon', Nivin Pauly He has become one of Mollywood's most sought-after actors and looks promising on the first 'Thuramukham' poster, which was presented today. Promising another great success from the director Rajeev Ravi , the outlined poster presents events that took place when the 'Chappa' system was in practice.

'Thuramukham' is based on the 'Chappa' system, a primitive 'work guarantee' scheme practiced in Cochin harbor during the 1950s. According to the system, copper coins known as 'Chappa' would be thrown at the workers waiting for a job and whoever manages to get one would be hired for a day’s job. The makers give an outline of chaos in their poster which features labourers, cops, representatives of the trade union and even Nivin Pauly. The intriguing poster and Nivin Pauly 's reaction to it are going viral on the internet for all right reasons.

Helmed by cinematographer turned director Rajeev Ravi, the movie also features Nimisha Sajayan , Indrajith Sukumaran , Biju Menon , Poornima Indrajith, Arjun Ashokan and Joju George. Gopan Chidambaram has scripted the movie and Sukumar Thekkepat is bankrolling the project. Rajeev Ravi has earlier proved his proficiency in filmmaking with movies like 'Annayum Rasoolum' and 'Kammatti Paadam'.
