JD (U) condemns violent activities on the JNU campus, demands the investigation of a Supreme Court judge
PATNA's ruling: Janata Dal (U) on Monday strongly condemned the violent activities of thugs on the JNU campus and demanded a free and fair investigation by a Supreme Court judge.
The Nitish Kumar party also demanded the immediate removal of the UN Foreign Minister and other senior administrative officials from their respective posts to ensure a fair investigation and a fair trial in the case.
Janata Dal (U) strongly condemns the violent activities of thugs on the JNU campus. The way in which the bearers of elected JNUSU charges were attacked by outsiders must be condemned by all sectors of society. JNU is known for debate, dialogue and ideological differences and never for such incidents. This is a cowardly act of ideologically defeated in the debate, JD (U) general secretary and spokesman said in a statement.
We strongly condemn the attitude of the vice chancellor of the university and other authorities who became silent spectators of the dirty play of thugs. Police officials also failed to perform their duties, he said.
We express our solidarity with JNU students, said Tyagi.
