The violence on the UN campus reminds the Nazi government: Congress
NEW DELHI: On Monday he accused the government of harboring enmity with the country's youth and said that violence on campus reminded him of the Nazi government.
The main spokesman for Congress, Randeep Singh Surjewala, also accused the UN administration of being an accomplice to the violent attack on Sunday night.
He also claimed that he was still a mute spectator when the students were being attacked by armed criminals.
Why do you harbor enmity with the youth of the country? The more you repress the voice of youth, the more emboldened it will become, Surjewala told reporters.
The violence in JNU reminds us of the Nazi government 90 years ago, he added.
