TNPL: Abhi, Jagadeesan, Indrajith not retained by franchises

CHENNAI Abhinav Mukund , N Jagadeesan & Baba Indrajith they were among the prominent names that were not retained by their Tamil Nadu Premier League ( TNPL ) franchises.

While Lyca Kovai Kings chose not to seek the services of Abhinav, who had captained in the previous edition, Dindigul Dragons has not retained Jagadeesan, who has been with the team since the first season in 2016. Ruby Trichy Warriors has also decided to let go to Indrajith.

Franchises can retain up to 3 players & a maximum 2 players who have represented the state in senior domestic tournaments. Fresh registrations for players who have not been retained will commence from January 6. Forms will be available at TNCA offices & can be downloaded from the website.

The last date to return duly completed forms is January 25. The fourth edition of the tournament was confirmed by Chepauk Super Gillies . Chepauk has won the competition on two occasions while Tuti Patriots & Siechem Madurai Panthers have clinched the crown once each.
