Amit Shah leads BJP's door-to-door campaign at CAA
NEW DELHI: President of BJP Amit Shah on Sunday he led the 10-day door-to-door campaign of the party to spread the Citizenship Law (Amendment) with the main leaders of the party reaching people across the country, amid a wave of protests against the controversial law since it approved December.
Shah visited homes and talked with people about the benefits of the amended citizenship law. He also distributed literature on the subject and urged them to review it.
The BJP has launched a 'Jan Jagran' (public awareness) campaign to contact three crore families to counter the opposition's campaign against the CAA and inform the masses about their characteristics.
While Shah was in Delhi, other party leaders like Rajnath Singh , J P Nadda and Nitin Gadkari They were in different parts of the country as part of the campaign, which will end on January 15.
