Tapaswini Express beached for 6 hours, Sundargarh MP Jual Oram tweets railroad minister

BHUBANESWAR: Puri-Hatia was stranded at two different stations in the district for more than 6 hours due to a technical problem with the train engine. Former tribal minister of the union and deputy Jual Oram , who was also on the train, tweeted expressing his anguish and labeled the railroad minister on it.

The train had left Puri at 7.55 p.m. He arrived at Angul at the scheduled time at 12.53 a.m., but stopped near the station for more than three hours after the engine developed with a technical problem. He arrived at his next Boinda station at 4.55 on Saturday morning.

Later, the train got stuck again at Bamur station. He stopped there for more than three hours due to engine problems. He arrived in Rairakhol at 8.56 a.m. instead of your scheduled arrival time at 2.10 a.m. The train was delayed 6 hours and 24 minutes on Saturday.

Oram along with, from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), traveled on the train to Rourkela. “I am tied with P K Mishra held at Bamur station for more than three hours due to the engine failure of 18452-Tapswani Express. Very sad, ”said Oram in his tweet.



Oram said the train was stranded for more than six hours between Angul and Bamur stations. I got off at Rourkela after the train left Bamur with the engine in shape, he added.

Pradeep Kumar, railroad division manager, said on his official Twitter account that the delay was due to problems with the train engine. “The subject is being investigated for a new course of action. We sincerely regret the problem, ”he added.

An East Coast Railway spokesman said they stopped the train because smoke was coming from the train engine. We started running the train after making it fit to run, he added.
