Bishan Singh Bedi hits Shubman Gill, wants his removal as captain of India A
NEW DELHI: legendary Indian spinner Bishan Singh Bedi on Saturday the first Punjab match closed Shubman gill since he had allegedly abused the referee after being handed over and refused to walk off the field during his Ranji Trophy match against Delhi at the IS Bindra stadium.
When a senior journalist asked him to react to the incident, which occurred on Friday, Bedi tweeted: This type of scandalous behavior by anyone is unforgivable, let alone by the proposed Captain of India A.
No matter how talented any player has been larger than the game - the example needs to be set - allow a more balanced person to lead India A before the Referee also feels intimidated!

On Friday, Shubman had refused to leave after being tried by Mohamad Rafi and approached the referee and had a heated argument with him. After this, the arbitrator reversed his decision.
However, the decision to cancel the wicket was not good with the Delhi team and it was reported that they left the field and the game stopped. The match referee P Ranganathan had to intervene and after a brief arrest, the game resumed.
Simarjeet Singh finally dismissed the first 20-year-old Punjab game. Shubman, after scoring 23 41-ball races, was caught by Anuj Rawat.
Gill will lead India A in both games of the tour and three one-day games in New Zealand and is also part of the India A team for two four-day games, before the Indian Team plays five T20I, three ODI and two tests. January 24
