Full statehood for Delhi will be part of the AAP survey manifesto: Arvind Kejriwal
NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal He said Saturday that he will be part of the AAP manifesto for the next elections to the assembly and that the party will continue fighting for it. Full statehood for Delhi was the main voting element in the elections of Lok Sabha last year. However, he failed to impress the people of Delhi and the AAP candidates lost in the seven seats of the city.
When addressing the fifth Town Hall meeting, anchored by a television news channel, Kejriwal said full statehood is the only promise the party could not keep.
Full statehood for Delhi will be part of the AAP election manifesto and the party will continue to fight for it, he said.
The AAP is expected to publish its manifesto between January 15 and 20, Kejriwal had said previously.
