The Sri Lankan Foreign Minister will visit India from January 9 to 10

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Skills Development, Employment and Labor Relations will visit India on January 9 and 10.

This is the first official visit of Minister Gunawardena, also a former journalist, after taking office in November 2019 after the presidential elections, Page newspaper reported.

After winning the November 16 elections, President Gotanaya Rajapaksa also visited India at the end of that month at the invitation of the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi .

The trip to India was President Rajapaksa's first visit abroad.
