Sonali Bendre welcomes 2020 with a unique trip

While most of us bring the New Year by celebrating with friends and family or on vacation in exotic places, Sonali Bendre and her husband Goldie behl welcomed 2020 in a different way. The two decided to give their son, Ranveer, a look at their roots. The family explored the surroundings of Amritsar, where Goldie's father grew up. They also visited the Golden Temple.

Sonali took Instagram with a publication about the “epic family trip” and captioned it as: “We begin the new year by embarking on an epic family trip to thank all that we have been blessed and to give our son a glimpse into his roots The magnificent Golden Temple followed by a walk through the Bylanes of Amritsar, where the father of @ goldiebehl grew up and finally a trip to the Wagah Border, the trip was everything we expected it to be. On my way home, feeling blessed and renewed. ”

We began the new year by embarking on an epic family trip to give thanks for everything we’ve been blessed with and to give our son a glimpse into his roots. The magnificent Golden Temple followed by a walk through the bylanes of Amritsar, where @ goldiebehl’s dad grew up and finally a trip to the Wagah Border, the trip was everything we hoped it would be. Heading back home, feeling blessed and refreshed. #FamilyTime

During the trip, they also visited the Wagah Border, where the actress was particularly thrilled to meet some women in uniform. She shared a pic with the caption, “There is something quite special about seeing a woman in a uniform ... the grace, strength, confidence… instilling such a feeling of pride! Made the trip to the # Wagah Border so much more special. Was a pleasure to meet them and see them lead the march for the flag retreat ceremony. Grateful for their service. ”
