Congress deliberately creates confusion about CAA: JP Nadda
PANAJI: Acting President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), JP Nadda, launched a scathing attack on Friday against former INC president Rahul Gandhi challenging him to even talk 10 lines about the provisions of the amendments made to the new Citizenship Amendment Law ().
Nadda was heading to a public demonstration, which was held in Panaji. More than 20,000 people, throughout the state, participated in the awareness rally, which started from EDC Patto and concluded with a public meeting in Azad Maidan.

He dared Rahul Gandhi to speak two lines on how the provisions of the new Act hurt the nation's interests and also to justify the reason for the opposition to the act.
It is unfortunate that the people who should come forward to lead the country have not tried to understand things, said the BJP leader.
Congress is cheating people. Trying to create confusion regarding the Law. They are asking why Muslims are not included in the Law. These people, who have not understood, do not know that Pakistan is a Muslim country, so where is the issue of religious prosecution of Muslims? . The religious prosecution is of Hindus, Sikh, Jain, parsis, Christians, he added.
Nadda said CAA is basically to give protection and rights to minorities in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, who have come to India as refugees before December 31, 2014. No more refugees will come to India, he said.
The labor president of BJP said that in 1947, India was divided into lines of religion.
Nadda asked people not to fall prey to those misguiding in CAA.

The Union Minister for AYUSH Shripad Naik, Prime Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Kavlekar and Manohar Ajgaonkar, cabinet ministers, MLAs, BJP President Vinay Tendulkar, were among those present.
The Union minister, Shripad Naik, said that having left without problems, the Congress party was trying to create confusion in people's minds, as they have been losing ground in the country. He said that the Congress party itself had supported this act in the past, but now, when they are in opposition, they find it as anti-minorities.
Sawant said Goa is the only State with Uniform Civil Code and we are proud of it. He said that some elements are deliberately trying to create confusion and fear to disturb the peace and harmony of the State.
