Montañero Hisar climbs the highest peak in South America

HISAR: Hisar climber climbed the Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, and raised the Tricolor at the summit on Wednesday morning. Anita has now climbed the highest peaks on six continents as part of her seven summit campaign.

Anita's relatives said she informed them of her latest achievement using a satellite phone. They said that only two out of eight Indians could reach the maximum peak, the other was from Vipin. He faced dangers of extreme cold, lack of oxygen and icy winds, but he did not lose his courage and kept his spirits high to climb the peak, his family members said.

When his father died, Anita was only 13 years old, but he defied the odds of pursuing his passion for climbing the highest mountains in the world, his family members said.

His latest achievement also made the residents of his hometown, Faridpur, in Hisar district happy.

The residents of the town distributed sweets and congratulated their family. Labor and empowerment minister Anup Dhanak congratulated Anita and wished her a bright future.
