Kota kills: Yogi and Maya attack Sonia and Priyanka

NEW DELHI: President of Congress Sonia Gandhi On Thursday he expressed concern about child deaths in a Kota hospital, while political disputes increased on the issue and rivals accused the opposition party of keeping silent about development in the state governed by the party. More than 100 babies died in December at the JK Lon hospital.

Sonia Gandhi summoned AICC general secretary in-charge of Rajasthan Avinash Pande for a discussion on Thursday. “She wanted to know the reasons of the deaths. It is a very sad situation and the CM has been asked to act on the report. The BJP allegation (of Congress government’s insensitivity) is untrue as the inquiry is on and those responsible will be punished, ”Pande said after meeting Sonia.

In a series of tweets, CM said, “The death of 100 innocent children is extremely saddening and heart-wrenching. It is extremely sad that Congress president Sonia Gandhi and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, despite being women, cannot understand the pain of mothers.

He added that it would have been better if Priyanka had met and comforted aggrieved mothers instead of engaging in politics in UP. Priyanka was recently on a tour to UP where he attacked BJP and the UP government for the Citizens Amendment Act and police shooting during protests, and also visited relatives of the victims.

Call CM Ashok Gehlot as insensitive, selfless and irresponsible, Mayawati He said: But, what is sadder is the fact that the top management of Congress, especially its secretary general, remain silent on this issue. It would have been better that, as he did in UP, he would have known the aggrieved mothers, who lost their children due to the laxity of the party government.

“There should be no policy on the subject. Infant mortality in this hospital is constantly decreasing, ”said Gehlot.
