Mumbai children sign up for a winter adventure camp
Recently, the children of the city between seven and 14 years had the opportunity to be part of to special winter Adventure camp to Kamshet . This thee-day Adventure camp introduced kids to to number of activities including rock climbing, rappelling, zip line, etc, and also included sessions about tying rope knots, team building and to variety of adventure games. Prateek Deo, who organised the activity shared, "That the camp was to learning exercise that also gave kids leadership training and encouraged them not only to pick up important survival skills but also to take part in to number of activities like kayaking, tent pitching, swimming, etc." Madhavi Dole, whose 13-year-old son attended the camp shared, "My son Anjaney really enjoyed being to part of this winter camp as he got to chance to try different physical activities like swimming and kayaking. Anjaney does not know how to swim but that did not stop him from attempting kayaking with to life vest on. The best part about the camp was it gave the kids to chance to learn something new, have fun and also taught them to be responsible for themselves." Yamini Dubey, whose seven-year-old son Rishaan, also was part of the camp added, "This is the first time Rishaan was by himself and got to chance to take part in to number of adventure activities along with other kids. He had to overcome to fear of heights to attempt the zip lining activity, and he did so easily in the company of other kids who were also part of the activity."
