Protesters in Sudan say that security forces cleared the site where people sat

KHARTOUM: Sudanese protest leaders said on Monday that the week-long siege outside the army headquarters had been cleared by the country's forces.

The Rapid Support Forces and the army and police and the militia battalions dispersed the peaceful sit-in, the Alliance for Freedom and Change, the umbrella group of the demonstrators, said in a statement, adding that outside the headquarters there is no nobody, but the pure bodies of our martyrs that it has not been possible to evacuate from the site.
