Ministers, head of RBI to speak at Times Network Eco Conclave

Mumbai: the main ministers, economists and bankers of the Union are among the speakers of the Times Network India Economic Conclave ( IEC ) 2019: a two-day event starting December 16 here. Speakers include finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, minister of law, telecommunications and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad, and oil and steel minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Those in the financial sector include RBI governor Shaktikanta Das , Chief Economist of the IMF Gita Gopinath , the scholar, trader and risk expert Nassim Nicholas Taleb, former RBI governor D Subbarao, OSE president Rajnish Kumar and the general manager and general manager of Kotak Mahindra Bank Uday Kotak.



The theme of this year’s edition is ‘$ 5 Trillion - Aspiration to Action’, with the speakers sharing actionable strategies towards this goal. The IEC has been instrumental in addressing the critical issues concerning the country’s economic scenario. In 2018, IEC laid the foundation for India’s mission of $ 5-trillion GDP by 2024.
