SC partially lifts the ban on construction activities in Delhi-NCR, allows it from 6 a.m. at 6 p.m.

NEW DELHI: Monday allowed construction activities in Delhi-NCR between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., partially lifting its order of total ban on them. The main court examined the report submitted by (CPCB) that said construction activities should not be allowed between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Additional Attorney General ANS Nadkarni told a bank made up of Judges Arun Mishra and Deepak Gupta that the Center had established a high-level committee in compliance with the apex court's direction to examine the feasibility of using technology as towers to Fight air pollution.

The bank also ordered the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana to present the updated report until December 11.

The higher court said it would listen to pollution issues on December 16.
