Rupankar sings for an Indo-Bangladesh movie

Rupankar Bagchi has given his voice for a melodious song at Bangladeshi filmmaker Fakhrul Arefeen Khan ’ Gondi ’. The song, titled Tobu Dupaye, since its release, is winning hearts. Debojyoti Mishra who wrote and composed the song said: “One day Arefeen told me about the story of this movie. That day the songs came to mind. When I told him about the song, he instantly agreed to use it in this movie. I hope people like this song.

The first song from Gondi ‘Gondi Chariye Bondhu Dujone’ has also been lapped up by music lovers.

In the movie, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty plays a 65-year-old man in front of the Bangladeshi actress Mustafa Suborna . The first part of the film was filmed in London, while the second part was filmed at Cox's Bazar.

Based on the script by Reza Arif, the story is about the friendship between a 65-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman as they develop feelings for each other. The cast also includes Aparna Ghose, Majnun Mizan and the child actor Fiona in key roles.

Previously, Fakhrul Arefeen Khan's movie ‘ Bhuban Majhi Based on the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971 and starring Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead, he received rave reviews.
