Amal Sehrawat: never lift your ego in the gym
Nothing is impossible if you are persevering and actor. Amal Sehrawat It is a perfect example of that. He may proudly flaunt his six packages, but it has cost him a lot to reach this level of fitness. The actor, who is currently seen in ' Choti Sarrdaarni ', he suffered a disc slip and underwent surgery a year ago. After that, his doctors told him to stop his training regimen.
Amal says: “I was almost motionless after suffering a sliding disc and I had no choice but to undergo surgery. After that, they asked me to take it easy. As a result, I accumulated kilos and weighed around 102. As I am 6 feet 3 inches tall, I was able to carry it, but it was not easy. There were times when I felt out of breath. In fact, I even went into depression because I thought I would never regain strength in my lower back. My wife, who is a sports nutritionist, helped me recover and lose weight. Now, I have lost all the extra weight and I even have six pack abs. That said, the abs are not very important. What matters most is that you are healthy.
Speaking about his conclusion of the experience, Amal says: We often tend to lift our egos in the gym and don't weigh. When I suffered from a sliding disc, I also resorted to lifting weights that I should not. That happens when we try to imitate others.
