Exclusive! Shamaun Ahmed in his co-star of 'The Girl On The Train', Parineeti Chopra, is a blessing to have her on the sets
Not many can know that Shamaun Ahmed began his career as a DJ when he was just a teenager. He later transitioned to modeling and trained as an actor with theater director Ramanjit Kaur, followed by NSD's Santanu Bose, as well as a brief season with Jayant Kripalani . The actor who chose to make web series instead of popular television shows landed in the framework of the best Bollywood actors for his projects and after much hard work, the actor has bagged his Bollywood movie, 'The Girl On The Train' .
Speaking about the movie and the experience, the actor said: I have scenes with Parineeti Chopra and Aditi Rao Hydari in the film and the film's shoot was an amazing experience. I made a lot of friends during the shoot. Talking about working with Parineeti Chopra , he said, "Working with her was a chilled-out experience. And to have Parineeti have on the set was a boon. I really hope there is always a star on the sets and every newcomer gets to interact with such a star who is really humble and real. It sets a nice example for us as well that when we grow-up in the industry, we should also be the same person."
"My director put in front of her directly without rehearsing but then once you are in the frame, it hardly matters with whom you are.. as all that matters was the work and your character," he added.
Talking about the film, 'The Girl on the Train' is a 2016 American mystery thriller drama film directed by Tate Taylor and written by Erin Cressida Wilson, based on British author Paula Hawkins' popular 2015 debut novel of the same name. The film stars Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley bennett , Justin Theroux , Luke Evans, Allison Janney, Édgar Ramírez, and Lisa Kudrow . The film follows a divorced alcoholic named Rachel who is involved in the investigation of a missing person.
