Samsung introduces large LED screens for Rs 3.5-12 cr

New Delhi, December 5 () Samsung tech expert on Thursday presented its MicroLED The Wall modular screen, which comes in giant screen sizes of 146 inches, 219 inches and 292 inches and is priced between Rs 3.5 Rs and Rs 12 crore.

It has been designed for those who are constantly looking for exceptional luxury experiences, Samsung India said in a statement and added that it would point to 'The Wall' on a client base with extremely high net worth in India.

The main objective of consumer electronics is to sell 200 units of The Wall by 2022.

With The Wall, we expect a sale of up to USD 70 million (Rs 498 million rupees) by 2022, said Puneet Sethi, vice president of Samsung India (Consumer Electronics Enterprise Business).

The 146-inch (370.8 cm) MicroLED modular wall display comes, while 219 inches (556.3 cm) in 6K definition, 292 inches (741.7 cm) would be in 8K definition.

The company expects the demand to come from metropolitan and non-metropolitan cities such as Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Surat, Ludhiana, Hyderabad and Chandigarh.

In India, there are about 140 billionaires and more than 950 billionaires.

The Wall Luxury is for spaces that include luxury homes, living rooms and media rooms, bedrooms, home cinema.

Luxury consists of offering a personalized experience. We are excited about this next step in our roadmap to the future of visualization technology and the remarkable viewing experience it offers to consumers, Sethi said.

Now, every video, movie or sporting event can be made bigger than life with Samsung's Wall, the company said.

The Wall is equipped with Quantum Processor Flex enabled with the AI ‚Äč‚Äčimage quality engine, which offers optimized image quality scene by scene, regardless of the source's original resolution.

Quantum Processor Flex is a machine-based image quality engine that analyzes millions of image data to automatically calibrate the original low-resolution image according to the screen. It can be connected to any operating system through a physical HDMI input, which provides ease of use to customers.

The Wall also comes in a professional version aimed at high-end businesses and commercial spaces, and, like The Wall Luxury, is fully customizable.

It has a lifespan of 1 lakh-hour of its own light emitting diodes and is designed to never go out, but to become a digital canvas that best suits the interior needs of the owner and personal mood. When the screen is not used, the ambient mode can display a variety of curated artworks, from paintings, photographs and video art to customizable images with digital frames, which best suit the tastes of the homeowner.
