The Congress protests in the premises of the Parliament by the increase of the prices of the onion
NEW DELHI: P Chidambaram leaders, who are released on bail after 106 days in jail, Adhir Chowdhury, Gaurav Gogoi and others protested on Thursday at Parliament's facilities against the uprising.
Holding banners and shouting slogans demanding that the government reduce prices and stop harassing the poor, congressional parliamentarians protested with a basket full of onions.

The minister of finance of the Union said Wednesday that the government had taken several measures to control the rising prices of onions and initiated measures to improve technology for better storage of basic food in the kitchen, the price of which in many places has crossed 100 rupees per kg.
