A 14-year-old girl was raped in groups by five in Rajasthan, possibly pregnant
KOTA: A 14-year-old girl, who was raped by five in the district just a week after Dussehra, is probably pregnant, police said Wednesday shortly after her family filed a case.
The girl, who dropped out of class VII school and the daughter of daily salaried workers, is in a state of shock and cannot reveal details beyond naming the five. The police must still perform a medical exam to confirm your pregnancy.
The matter came to light Tuesday night when his mother insisted that he reveal why his periods had stopped. Then he recounted his terrible experience of being raped by five young people at different times in the city of Atru a few days after Dussehra.
The girl is in shock and cannot record statements correctly, said DSP Rakesh Sharma.
“When the child stopped having her periods, her parents asked her to reveal the truth. Then she reported the incident and alleged that five young people raped her a few days after Dussehra, ”said Sharma.
The rape survivor named the five young people in the city of Atru, said Atru SHO Laxmi Singh.
“The girl cannot provide more details about the accused. A special team is advising her to get her out of the shock, Singh said. The police have presented the case of violation under Sections of the IPC and POCSO Law. The medical examination has not yet been carried out to confirm the pregnancy, he said.
Police officers said the defendant's search was underway and that his age had not yet been confirmed.
In case the girl revealed to have been raped by more than one defendant at a time, sections under gangrape would be incorporated, said Sharma, who is investigating the case.
