Shantanu Maheshwari: 'I started acting to be a lambi ka ghoda race'
Shantanu Maheshwari I was in the Pink City recently to record a music album
Known for his groovy moves, dancer, choreographer and actor Shantanu Maheshwari was recently in Jaipur to shoot for a music album. The winner of season 8 of Khatron Ke Khiladi Shantanu stayed in a suburban property and the trip from the airport to his hotel (about 40 km) gave him an idea of the royal city.
He said: I'm here on a short trip and I'm not sure if I will have time to explore, but the trip gave me a good impression of the city. The old buildings are still in the same color, which gives the city a unique identity, which is usually not found in other cities. As I have heard a lot about the jewels of Rajasthan, I am planning to buy silver jewelry for my mother.
The actor was recently seen on the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 9. Ask him what he loves most: acting or dancing, since he also played the leading role in the popular dance-based youth show, Dil Dosti Dance (2011 -14) and he responds quickly: “Without a doubt, dancing. It's my passion, but to stay in the industry and be a lambi ka ghoda race, I'm trying to act. I always strive for excellence both in acting and dancing so that, at the end of the day, I have a better performance. ”
Shantanu has also starred in episodic programs such as Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Twistwala Love. When asked if he would like to be part of a complete TV soap, he said: “Daily soaps are a long-term commitment and now I am busy with several different things. I would not mind making a daily soap, if the content and history of the program are good and I have an important role. I need to be happy with what I am portraying on the screen. ” As someone who has done an adventure reality show (Khatron Ke Khiladi), can we see Shantanu in a controversial reality show like Bigg Boss? At one time, there were rumors that Shantanu had also approached him to be a competitor in Bigg Boss 13. Not this year. I received a call last year to be part of the show. To be honest, a person like me wouldn't fit in a show like that. I don't have the personality required to survive in a house full of strangers, separated from friends and family, fighting for the daily basics. In fact, I don't even like to see Bigg Boss personally. I don't find the program entertaining enough to be attracted to it, but I'm sure the program has its own followers.
