Government open to new reforms: Nirmala Sitharaman
NEW DELHI: Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman On Tuesday, he said the government is open to further reforms to make India a more attractive investment destination.
The government has taken several measures, including reducing corporate tax, he said at the India-Sweden Business Summit here.
I can only invite and ensure that the Indian government is committed to further reforms in various sectors, be it banking, mining or insurance, etc., he said.
He invited Swedish companies to invest in infrastructure development projects.
India plans to invest around Rs 1 lakh crore in the infrastructure sector over the next five years.
